Our Mission

Our goal with this non-profit is to honor our daughter and keep her memory alive while helping to alleviate some of the financial struggles that families of medically complex children face. We hope to help families cover costs of medical equipment, supplies, and additional therapies that are not covered on private insurance plans.

We also want to sponsor at least one family to attend the biennial CdLS conference. These conferences are so important because they have doctors that specialize in CdLS. They offer free consults so parents can ask questions and get assistance on how best to care for their child. It also allows families to bond and share their experiences with one another.

A Little About Addi Jo

Addi Jo loved shiny things (like her momma’s wedding ring and meme’s bracelets), books, blowing bubbles, constantly kicking her little legs on her Fisher Price giraffe chair, and snuggling with her loveys. She was SUCH a daddy’s girl and saved most of her giggles for him. Everyone who came in contact with her quickly fell in love. Her little upside down smile would light up any room.

In her short time with us, Addi Jo showed us how incredibly strong children can be. She had to overcome obstacles in her 19 months of life that many don’t face in their entire lifetime. For such a tiny little bit, she was so unbelievably strong! She taught us a lot during her short time here on Earth. We miss everything about her and can’t wait to see her again someday!
